Can we talk about this for a moment?
Stiles is finally realizing that the stuff going on is really fucked up and dangerous, it’s not just werewolves running around on the full moon anymore.
And he knows there’s nothing he can do to help them; at least on the battlefield. He’s not a warrior, he’s a strategist, although he doesn’t realize this yet.
And I’m afraid that because he can’t see how important he is to the “pack” as human as he is, he may give in and take on Peter’s offer.
I don’t want Stiles to become a werewolf. First, because of diversity. You’ve got a teen hunter, a teen werewolf, a teen kanima, a teen that for some reason is immune to the bite, you have older wolves, older hunters, and a magic vet. There’s gotta be a teenager. A normal, human teenager.
And second, if he turns, then all the qualities that make him Stiles will disappear. He suffers from ADHD, a behavioral disorder, much like Erica’s epilepsy was a neurological disorder. And if he turns, he’ll get cured, and I don’t want that! I love the twitchy, quirky, weird kid he is.
You’re the Xander to my Buffy, bb. You are one of the few people that keep your supernatural friend grounded.
